Salt Therapy
by Ffion Llwyd-Jones, Alive
Can you imagine life without salt? It's in us,
and all around us in the air and in the ground. "There must be something
strangely sacred in salt,"
By the Sea, By the Beautiful Sea
Anyone who walks beside the ocean, enjoying that bracing sea air, knows the
subsequent feeling of good health. The iodine and ozone in the sea air exert
natural antibiotic actions, and negative ions give the air its invigorating
freshness. Some research suggests that negative ions balance serotonin levels
in our bloodstream, leading to greater alertness and stability. So one simple
way to get some extra salt, and great exercise, is by walking along the beach,
swinging your arms, and taking in big lungfuls of health-giving air.

Easy and Effective
Home Workouts
by Lynn Bode, NY Wellness Guide
Many people think that creating a home workout
gym is either too intimidating or too costly. So, often they instead invest
their money in a health club membership not realizing that for the same amount
of money (or even less) they can create a very effective gym right in their
own home.
For an effective home gym, all that is required is a little bit of planning.
Don’t fall into the trap of purchasing random fitness equipment because of
fancy advertising for the latest infomercial fad or the great “sale” at your
local fitness store. That type of purchasing leads to a house littered with
equipment that’s only use is as a clothes hanger or dust collector. This often
happens because the equipment is either useless, poorly constructed or quickly
loses its value because it doesn’t progress with your fitness level.
To avoid having a basement filled with expensive dust-collecting equipment,
keep these points in mind when making a purchase...

How Does Crystal Healing Work?
Adapted from
Vibrational Medicine, by Richard Gerber, M.D.
,
Care2
According to
crystal researcher Marcel Vogel, a senior scientist with IBM for 27 years,
"The crystal is a neutral object whose inner structure exhibits a state of
perfection and balance. … Like a laser, it radiates energy in a coherent,
highly concentrated form, and this energy may be transmitted into objects or
people at will. With proper training, a healer using a crystal can release
negative thoughtforms which have taken shape as disease patterns."
The quartz crystal can have
other energetic abilities besides merely focusing the subtle energies of the
healer.
When healing energy is focused through the quartz crystal, it is sent into the
body of the patient and distributed to the areas most in need of an energy
balancing. There is an almost innate intelligence to this focused energy as it
is always directed at the body regions where it is needed...
