Saucers Over Findhorn
Fortean Times
Scotland’s
Findhorn Community is known as one of the great New Age success
stories – a small-scale experiment that grew, like the miraculous
giant organic vegetables that are part of the legend, from humble
beginnings into a world-renowned spiritual centre. But, says Andy
Roberts, the real origins of Findhorn – and a missing chapter of
British ufological history – lie in the heady days of the flying
saucer contactee movement.
The Findhorn
Community has been dubbed ‘The Vatican of the New Age’, and includes
among its patrons such diverse personalities as Prince Philip,
Shirley Maclaine and Mike Scott of The Waterboys. Findhorn’s
credentials as a New Age University are beyond reproach, with
thousands of people attending courses each year, ranging from
Dances In Space and Time to Close To God On Iona,
and happy to pay up to £1,500 for the privilege. Findhorn is worth
over £5 million a year to the local community, yet still strongly
polarises opinion. Some believe that the Findhorn Community attracts
vitally needed employment and tourism to the area. Others are more
cynical. One neighbour commented: “If they were any good to anyone
they wouldn’t be at the Findhorn Foundation”, while another noted
disapprovingly that members of the Community are often seen hugging
when they meet...

French UFO Data Invades Web
by
Molly Moore, Washington Post
PARIS — On an August day in 1967, two
children tending a herd of cows outside a village in central France
reported seeing "four small black beings" fly from the ground and
slip headfirst into a sphere that shot skyward in a flash of light
and trail of sulfuric odors.
The alleged extraterrestrial sighting,
described by the French government as "one of the most astonishing
observed in France," is among 1,600 UFO case files spanning the last
half century that the country's space agency opened to the public
for the first time Thursday...

The
Extraterrestrial Timeline and Crashed Flying Saucers
ThothWeb
There are very few researchers
who would deny the fact that there is almost overwhelming evidence
by way of witness testimony and photographic evidence to suggest
that UFOs exist.
Strange crafts have been documented for thousands of years,
immortalised in ancient texts, cave art and a variety of other
media. In the last century they have been witnessed by army, navy
and air force personnel not to mention civilian pilots, air traffic
controllers and a variety of people from all walks of life.
A new project intended to create a comprehensive timeline that
documents UFO sightings, crashes and other significant events that
had occurred or were thought to have occurred throughout history has
been initiated which reveals many interesting patterns worth
investigating...

Invisible Bigfoot?
by Craig Woolheater, Crytomundo
Cryptomundo reader silvereagle has alluded to
Lawrence Livermore National Labs having had several bigfoot in
captivity in the 60’s. Several other Cryptomundo readers had asked
for more information regarding this. He posted the following as a
comment and I decided to post it as a separate blog.
It was fairly
common knowledge in the east bay area during the late 60’s and early
70’s, that Lawrence Livermore National Labs had several bigfoot in
captivity in the 60’s. UC Berkeley staff also participated in the
study. The first bigfoot caught them by surprise, when it escaped by
walking out the door when the janitor came in to clean out, what
everyone thought was an empty holding cell. It remained at large
inside the building for a couple of weeks, before it found its own
way out. There was some panic..
