Goals

To decrease and eventually halt, the destruction of the planet's ecospheres by providing efficient, sustainable and less expensive alternatives for food and energy than are currently used on the planet.
 
To show by our examples that vibrant communities built upon mutual respect, innovation, individual responsibility, beneficial reciprocation, ecological stewardship, harmony, education, health, security and shared economic prosperity, are not only possible, but desirable and achievable.
 
For all those who might still ask why people would go to all the effort and expense to charter and build Celestopea communities, here is our answer:
 
Celestopeans believe that abundance is our birthright and that Celestopea communities are one of the best way to create it for ourselves and in such bounty that there is much left over to share with others.
 
Celestopeans believe that if we do nothing to alleviate the problems of the world, then we are part of the problem. It is only by our actions on both a local and global scale, that we can be part of the solution.
 
Celestopeans want to live in a world of peace, global economic prosperity and ecological integrity. We believe that in the creation of Celestopea communities and the fulfilling of Celestopean ideals, we are doing much that is within our power to create such a world for ourselves, our children and our fellow citizens of Earth.
 
Goals for the Sea
 
To relieve the pressure of growing human population by opening the oceans, 70% of the earth's surface, to habitation through the sharing of Celestopean technologies, which includes the creation of new land and buildings by accreting the minerals dissolved in seawater into solid form.
 
To provide plans and guidance to help people accrete affordable, durable Seadomes as an alternative to traditional housing. Low-cost Seadome housing requires no land purchase and will allow many people worldwide to become proud homeowners. 
 
To provide assistance in the construction of Ocean Thermal Energy Converters (OTECs) around the world to generate ecologically sound, pollution free, 100% renewable power to many of the world's cities; to provide immense sources of locally grown protein with Spirulina pond farms to help alleviate famine and malnutrition; and to utilize the OTECs to economically desalinize seawater to provide abundant supplies of pure water to drought-stricken areas.
 
To assist in utilizing OTECs and Celestopean Elemental Separators (CESs) to separate hydrogen, oxygen, gold, platinum and other valuable minerals from seawater. The pollution free hydrogen and electricity generated by OTECs can be used to replace petroleum and other fossil fuels. The oxygen can be released into the earth's atmosphere to replenish and increase the atmospheric oxygen level. The financial gain from the electricity, fuel, precious metals and minerals should be shared with the people of the world in ways that will improve the health, education and quality of life for all the citizens of Earth.
 
Goals for the Land
 
To assist in the establishment of communities in rural areas, often remote, barren and undesirable; and utilizing permacultured techniques to turn them into little Edens that are off the grid, self-sustaining and good examples of ecological stewardship.
 
Through successful example, to promote the use of alternative energy sources and to share all alternative energy knowledge gleaned with other Celestopean communities and the world.
 
Through successful example, demonstrate to the world how being eco-friendly and good Earth Stewards can be both satisfying and profitable.
